Choose a period

Start with 30 days, or choose 7 days, 90 days, This month, or Last month. TaskChef remembers your choice. Dates use your local time zone; rolling ranges include today. These chart periods are separate from your allowance reset and subscription billing periods.

Compare days and projects

  • Tokens and cost: bars show estimated dollars on the left axis; the line shows tokens on the right. Hover over or focus a day to read its values. Today is dashed because it is still in progress.
  • Tokens and cost by project: select a project name to isolate it, then All projects to restore the comparison. Period totals stay unchanged.
  • Top 10 projects: ranks projects by estimated cost. Share means a share of that estimate. Smaller projects are grouped as Other in the charts.

Weekly limits

This card uses general weekly allowance readings saved in Codex logs, not a calculation from tokens or dollars. The chart keeps the latest reading per day and connects observations across gaps, showing known resets.

% left and Resets use the latest recorded reading, even outside the chart period. Readings can be stale. After its reset passes, the card shows Current allowance unavailable until a newer reading is available. Missing readings do not mean zero usage.

Cost is an estimate

TaskChef applies available API prices to recorded tokens. API-equivalent cost is not your subscription bill or remaining allowance. Missing logs or model prices can make estimates incomplete.

Coverage and refresh

Usage includes desktop, CLI, exec, archived chats and linked subagent usage. Board visibility settings and filters do not narrow it. Use Refresh to update saved usage or Rescan to rebuild it from available logs.
